This seems definitive:

...so he's still a rookie.

I think Clancee is the only still on the rookie list but looks to be the player they elevate in Round one because we only have one veteran

It looks like we have 8 spots left either way. Mr Pearce will probably be re listed as a and and truffles (hopefully) should come back as a rookie. So seven spots left. 6 if we believe certain "sauces".

Ladies,

We may or may not get some X-factor out of the upcoming draft(s).
However, Clancee has more X factor than Altiyan Childs. Support this lad and simply smile.

It seems every one is trying to make wholesale changes this year.

Our list
#335883
In 2011, our list are on the verge of something special or are they? Premiership teams have an average age of 24-26y. In the last 4 GFs, the stats proves that to play and win a GF, the team must be in this age group.

2010 Pies (24y 57d) v Saints (26y 190d)
2009 Cats (26y 259d) v Saints (26 136d)
2008 Hawks (24y 218d) v Cats (25y 295d)
2007 Cats (25y 179d) v Port (24y 359d)

Semi-Final 2010 Cats (27y 203d) v Freo (24y 123d)

Our recruiting strategy seems to fall in line with this phylosophy. Which begs the question, are we in this premiership window or is this just media talk.

Looking at my crystal ball, and the form we were in, this year, our list must be in contention to play in the GF in 2011 (barring major catastrophe). Also noting that we had a major injury toll towards the end of of 2010 campaign.

I reckon that's a bollocksy stat. The average age of most teams is between 24 and 26.

The average age of the Baby Bombers premiership side in 1993 was 24y 105d. By the time the won again as mature players in 2000 it was 25y 240d.

You may as well be saying that the last 5 Grand Finals have been won by teams wearing boots. Fremantle will wear football boots this year so they are in the premiership window.

Back on to Clancy again . .. .

Note he ran 5th in the 3km time trial!

I'm sure its not just me that sometimes gets perception mixed up with reality. No evidence about what he's like over the first 20m, but you'd have to say hes not slow and he doesn't need to work on his fitness!

He's a great kid with heaps of talent...and smart as they come. No surprise to me as he's a Black Duck and spent a year in Kraks School. Laugh all you want, but Andy worked like a madman on his fitness when he was stuck inside - when he came back with the Swannies, he instilled the need for fitness amongst the whole group - the bunch of them have tanks big enough for Stalin to envy.

After that memorable GF win a few weeks back I reckon the Black Ducks could've played another game and spanked whomever they had to face (and spanked them badly).

Clancee's a keeper - let the Rhino loose!
