depends on how you view double pluggers.
Also, in defence of pavforpm, he is in Brisbane. There is quite possibly media up there about him not signing as he is headed for GC. Similar to the neverending speculation here in Sowfstraya that Pav is returning to captain the crows.

Sigh ...
We hear this stuff every year that Pav's contract is due to expire and yet every year he quietly signs another one and stays at Freo.
Don't buy into this stuff people, that other mob up the road still burn about Judas leaving in a year they were all convinced he was staying and Pav heading back to SA.

Actually it is all about his insurance contract. Para MXI Sub CXV - 100 signings of name are permitted per month but he is booked out on t/shirts, balls, and flim flam for the next 5 months and to sign a contract now would void his insurance.

Pav will sign a two year deal. Pav will then do a BBBBBBB Hall and seek a club that is in it's premiership wimdow that needs a key forward with presence (presents??). That club will be Fremantle. Pav will sign a further deal.
Simple really.

It's not often I drink red wine (sometimes I go 8 ... 9 hrs without a glass), but I'm really pleased I happened to be drinking a red and not a beer when I came upon this thread. I guess it's the association of reds with special occasions (like, I dunno, I've never lived at 9.28pm on this day in history before, so let's crack open a red to celebrate) that made it seem so perfect to be tippling from a bottle of cab sav when I looked over the opening exchange between our illustrious leader and PavforPM.
I don't want to add to that.
I just wanted to mark the moment.

Yep, it was the 'knobber' comment that caught my attention - you know PavForPM, being labelled a knobber by Shane isn't necessarily a bad thing. I assume that the term 'knobber' is some semantic equivalent of entering into a circumscribed discussion that implies a circumcised point of view - yet it often ends with both parties having a more circumspect outlook on things.

All this talk of Pav not signing points out another postion besides the ruck we're going to struggle to fill.
Who will eventually replace Pav?
Out of the potential rookies fowards... we have is Nat Flyte, Chris Hall Joel Houghton and Ben B...read somwhere that Ben B and Chris H were picked up as they were the same type of player as Pav..... Am I wrong about this ??... what about Casey S ??
If Pav leaves at the end of the year and we get nothing are we stuffed power forward wise?
