Where's Byron? I thought he'd put on a good show in the WAFL last week. Poor old Schammer has fallen foul of the youth policy again.

If Mcphee doesn't get up for today we have a ready replacement in Dodd.
And just to be the devil's advocate here, who would you leave out of last weeks team to give Grover a game ?
By the looks of it Fyfe is in the queue and then there's Rhys Palmer to add who presumably would walk straight back into the side.
Did I mention Deboer ?
It's good to have some depth albeit so early in the season.

Thank's for your good service Schammer but you are no longer in our best 25 so its time to trade you to Adelaide for Vanberlo .

What - then have 2 x Van Berlos'
Sounds like a comedy routine - The Van Berlo Brothers
or a circus act on the trapeze or high wire.

Gee what a stress for the selectors with all these people to come back.
Feathers I believe playedwell enough prior to the knee injury that once he plays a WAFL game or two would be pressing as well.
God help the club if Walters, Pearce, Sibo, Bucovaz, Hall and all these other guys start playin well, we will have some serious depth.
Good dilemma to have.
Would rather this than have suspensions and injuries galore like last couple years.

Now we have some good players that can actually deliver the ball and not create turnovers as Dodd and Schammer are well known for those guys will never get another game.
Seriously for all his heart Byron cause's far to many turnovers and his disposals are almost the worst in the AFL!
Dodd is not far behind in clangers.
They will need a second ruckman so Kepler will replace McPhee, and to bolster the forward line on a smaller Etihad oval, Fyfe will replace Van Berlo. This is nothing against Van Berlo and should be more a horses for courses swap on what fits best at Etihad!

Bolster the forward line? It kicked 17 goals against Adelaide.
Dodd and Schammer are far better footballers than you guys give credit for.

Also once Rhys is ready to play he will slip straight in for the Van Berlo/Fyfe combination.
One player I would suggest needs to lift to keep his place in the side is Michael Johnson, whilst I think he has a lot of potential still to tap, his clangers were glaring last week and they are a still regular occurrence in his game.
The teams that win games don't have clangers like M.J. produces from there top players. If your looking for a player to drop and still like either Fyfe or Van Berlo when Chilli Palmer's ready M.J. could be the obvious candidate.
I can hear the excuses flowing already, but in today's game the time to pick players because they've been around and should perform are gone, we need to pick players that don't make mistakes if we want to win more than we lose!!!!

Johno was playing second string ruck.
Now, Palmer is a hell of a ball player, but a Ruckman he aint.
If Johno goes, then Kepler or Clarke replaces him.
On form, I'd take Johno (who is still recovering from a season ending injury) every day of the week.
