I had heard the 34 disposals record on the radio,unfortunately the report was wrong,apparently the record,unofficial as it is,is for Greg Williams,38 on debut playing for Geelong against Fitroy in 1984.He also holds the record of 53 disposals while playing for Sydney against St Kilda in 1989.

I rate Barlows 33 as outstanding debut and well worthy of being officially the record,and believe he can carry it on,i hope he also takes the official record for most disposals,maybe even this year.Melbourne or Richmond is the question.
Just cant wait for Palmer to be running amok out there with the rest,maybe its still afterglow but this could be a very exciting year.
