How good were the boys tonight!
Barlow, Morabito and Silvagni were all fantastic on debut. Mayne, Balla, Dessi and Pav were excellent.
211 dominated. While Broughton, Duffman, Hayden, Taz and McPharlap smashed the crows "forward line".
Suban very good, Creepy played through an injury.
Same team next week please.
Ibbo's goal in the second was fan-bloody-tastic.

Stickers! Ya missed Mundy who had a cracker tonight as well!
All we gotta do is get MJ and McFree to get rid of the clangers from their games and we are up for a big season!

Barlo 33 disposals,1 off the record for a debut, and a couple goals for good measure.
Broughton and Duffman 32 each.
Mora and Nosos also get goals on debut.
Dessie and Pav bet 3 goals each and caused plenty of headaches.
LOTS to like!.
Some goal kicking practice, smooth out some clangers and continue to attack all 4 quarters and making the eight will be a shoe in.

Langdon said in his 15 years of calling football he hadn't seen a more balanced team effort from the Dockers. The only guy who went missing really was McPhee. He just doesn't look
right at the moment. The rest of the team was fantastic. It would be nice to reclaim Subi as our fortress like it once was!

Who is this Langdon you speak of? Can't be the same one I'm thinking of...
Oh, and second on the ladder. Let's just embrace the moment.

That was absolute gold. Consistent effort pretty much across the entire team.
Ahhh, perfect week-end of football !
Freo win, second team (this week the Lions) win. It's all good.

Morabito could become seriously scary.
At least one name missing from the plaudits so far: Hill. He was fantastic in close, and he ran his guts out all night.
Great to feel the excitement in the crowd whenever he was in the clear with the ball in his hands, but we shouldn't overlook how quickly and cleanly he moves in close quarters as well.

Yes Wiz, Morabito and Hill were fantastic. And I agree with Gooober. Any one notice how we rarely had anyone less than 190 at the ball ups? ANd Crows tactics of playing extra men behind the ball failed.

Yeah good stuff from the team. Was it the early parts of the 2nd and 4th quarters we started off slow, but we came back strong.
Hill had a lot of handballs and dish it out of the packs a number of times. He is just able to zone in and his tackles stick. The boys tackling was awesome tonight.
I know we got a few tackles rewarded with holding the ball calls. But the umps let a few slide.
Good balance game from all. Yeah if MJ can find teamates in space he will be his genius self like he was in 06.

d, reports are that Barlow's 33 disposals is the record for a debut since champion data started recording stats in 1992. Dalziel previously held the record with 32 disposals on debut.
Forget the Rich/Hill debate, the whole of the league should be ashamed of themselves for overlooking this ball magnet.
