It's about time the club looked at getting some of South Fremantle's best and brightest to the club.
How many kids has he got?

His shock departure to join new Dockers coach Ross Lyon comes after it is udnerstood to already accepted a new two-year deal to continue at West Coast.
Can you really believe anything containing garbage like that?
I can barely udnerstand it myself.

Should make for some interesting coaching meetings.
Lyon: 'Peter, any ideas about how we can improve our forward efficiency?'
Sumich: 'Suma say more left footers.'
What's not to like?

Just got the email:
The Fremantle Dockers have today confirmed that Peter Sumich has accepted a position as an assistant coach with the club.
Sumich, 43, a dual premiership player, has been an assistant coach with West Coast for the past 11 seasons.
Fremantle's general manager of football operations Chris Bond confirmed the appointment.
"Peter will be a valuable addition to our coaching staff," Bond said.
"With more than 20 years as a player and a coach at the elite level, including premiership success, Peter will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Fremantle Football Club."
Sumich played 150 games for West Coast from 1989-1997.
He played in the Eagles' 1992 and 1994 premiership sides and was seven times the club's leading goal kicker.
He also played 112 games for South Fremantle in the WAFL, and was coach of the Bulldogs from 2001-2002.
Sumich said: "It's the right decision and the right time to accept this appointment. I'm really looking forward to working with new senior coach Ross Lyon. I'm also relishing both the prospect of such a significant change and the challenges that lay ahead."

Will they make it an even blacker day by announcing Slapovich as an assistant as well.
Just had a brilliant idea since we are in bizzare land with coaching appointments why not [Alice! Cooper that is]He certainly have more life than Sumich in the coaches box.All we would need for Sumich is a cardboard cut out which would probably be more helpful than the real deal in the coaches box.

This is just more proof that the Steve's love the Weagles more than they love the Dockers.

Now they've got their man do you think they'll put in a Buckley style 4 year succession plan between Sumich and Lyon?
