Ran 2.88 secs in the 20m sprint at the draft combine. Fastest clocked at 2.86secs. And speaking to a keen West Perth onlooker and member, young Hill would make a good addition to FREO's list in 2012. This would be an exciting era with the Hill brothers carving out their trade in purple not unlike the Krakour brothers in the 70s.

I'm not convinced either of them could ever be as gutsy as Phil.

Be interested to see how he goes in the agility test - see if he is as good as his brother.

Sounds good, just a question of who will pull the trigger and when,is he likely to go top 20?.
Also read"Josh Bootsma, the son of former Fremantle midfielder Brad, who has played eight colts matches for South Fremantle after moving from Albany midway through the season, was not nominated despite impressing several AFL scouts."
What was the father son requirements?,Brad played 162 games for souths,(94-05),to late to count?.
Just curious as we dont seem to have many father son selections to choose from yet.

Brad is a likely 40+ pick I'd imagine, maybe even rookie. Don't think there will be too many sides rushing to grab him other than us because of the family connection.
What he's shown so far this year has been alright but certainly behind a lot of other players. Not sure anyone would take note of him without his brother.

We have a bit of space, especially if Clancee, Walters, Van Berlo etc are not signed.
Would he be worth a punt? I've not seen him play at all

Apparently he set the record for the beep test today (16.1 - whatever that means). Has speed & endurance...

Wowee. If that's true, the result for the beep test, this kid is seriously good. That score of 16.1 is unheard of. Jarrad Mcveigh(Swans) set the record at 15.6 in 1992 and that was equalled in 2009 by Braden Norris (Roos). Like I said, WOWEE.

Gerodock, a beep test involves running between two lines that are 20 metres apart in time with a pre-recorded beep from a CD player/ laptop. After (i think) 12 laps, the beeps get closer together so you have to run faster to keep up. Repeat after the next 12 laps and so on.
16.1 indicates that he's run one lap after they've upped the pace 16 times.
This kid is phenomenally fit.

Both Stephen and Brad and their sisters used to compete with my kids at Little A's and I was the timekeeper.Stephen was amazing at sprints and high jump but Brad could always beat him in endurance.
