Having Anthony to train with us is no guarantee we'll get him PSD. The Picks in order in the PSD are: GC (N. Ablett)?? WCE (B. Wilson)?? Rich (Houli) Ess ( Jay Neagle)?? Hawks (B. Green) Freo ( Anthony) ?? I am concerned that only two of the 5 clubs ahead of us in the order of selection have committed to the player it wants. When we picked up Mcphee last year, he was still considering his future with the Bombers even after the NAB Draft. I think if we got Anthony, it'll be the coup of the season. He is a genuine goal kicker who has kicked over 50 goals in season 2009. Forget the talk about him this year not playing many games for the Pies. I fear that there are 3 other teams who will be very interested. Watch this space.

Monaco is good value - if we got him, and Anthony, along with Mzungu and The Prong for next to nothing, then I reckon we'd have pulled off the steal of century with this draft, even without the 3 young blokes. Thing is, are GC beholden to Ablett, G to grab Ablett, N? Otherwise, why would you take a washed up non-player ahead of Anthony..? Fingers crossed.
