Looks like a cross between WC Eagles and Hawks. What's that anyway .... some kind of stubby horse shoe for a logo ...... or is it a banged up anchor?

Looks pretty snazzy. Bit generic but that's what they seem to be going for with the entire club. It's AFL-lite. They don't want to scare the locals.
I thought they'd come up with something better than Greater Western Sydney, though. Obviously they're also embracing the thinking that using the American style of nicknames over place names gives you a broader appeal.

The name is a blatantly obvious grab for 211. I think it is dangerous to build your club (and it's name) around a player that you will never get.

At least they wedged in half a paperclip.
Is anyone with any real creativity working in graphic design these days or is it all Prada glasses and decaf soy latte brainstorming teleconferences?

So the guy who came up with the original Brisbane Bears jumper is still in business? That clunky "G" jumper is an abomination.
I was also hoping that Greater Western Sydney was just a working title while they set things up. It's a bit of a mouthful.
Giants I don't mind, orange I don't mind, but......meh.
Not that any of this matters, of course. I give the whole club ten years at most.
