Everyone has a right to comment, absolutely (I wish the fans on the club's facebook page realised this). I was just referring to Shane's glorification of Easts, I assumed they'd have good supporters... but if you want a really good club, head on up to West Perth.

Nup, East Freo simply has anchor envy - when you lose yours you envy those that still have one.

I hope that not too many of you out there have already given up on the club, or too tired to fight! The Member treatment has been a disgrace, however, I remember reading back during that massive New Jumper, New Song thread that lots of different people posted comments. Many posted about not wanting to renew memberships and families being shattered about the change.

Dont give up yet. Come along to the Annual Members Meeting. Come and have a listen to what the Steves come out with...or speak your mind.

Iggy's going!!!

Hey, didnt Alice Cooper wear the Freo scarf a few years back one Friday night? Anyone got a pic?

"So what do the people , who don't like the new Guernsey , expect to do at our games going forward ?"

East Freo, everyone is entitled to their opinion but your above comment is absurd. I'm sure they expect (just like everyone else) that they will sit in their seat and barrack loudly for the team.

As someone else said, so many seem to be confusing "team" with "club" but even so your comment still makes absolutely no sense particularly in light of your earlier comment that all the supporters you know like the new logo, new colour and new jumper. Your arguments remind me of a fly in a spider web, the more you flail about with attempts to justify your position the more you get caught up by previous comments.

You love it, some don't - we get that. Just don't expect everyone to "get over it" as easily as you have.

I have never been embarrassed by logo, song or jumper - even the green away jumper.

I will be in Warakurna on Wednesday due to work and the commute to Freo is a killer ... so I won't be there in person. Believe me, if I was in Perth, I would be marching (and drinking) in the red and green jumper with you.

So I will be there in spirit I guess - for what it's worth - and watching the news Thursday for the coverage.

You have my full support and admiration for having the guts to take a stand on this matter.

I am disgusted with the actions of the administration in this matter. However, the fact that there are members like yourselves prepared to take action of this sort demonstrates the depth of feeling and level of support there is for the Fremantle Football Club. And that means we will remain a strong club, regardless of any attempts by the executive to undermine this.

Stick it up 'em. Go Freo!

Too bad that you can't come - but make sure that every other member you know gets down there.

Does anyone remember the meeting held to get WAFL / public feedback on joining the VFL in Freo back in 1983/4?
The decision was already made well before the meeting, and when we all got there we were told of whats going to happen.

The bad eighties, were a few of our leaders ended up in the clink, bankrupt or in exile because their decisions. Only if we had someone who had a vision for Western Australia football back then, not having to be ruled by and celebrate Victoria history.

Well I'm looking forward to a nice little stroll with a few friends down to the meeting. Giving the Steves a good talking too, followed by a drink at the Sail and Anchor with same friends.

I've just emailed sportscentral on 6pr asking them to remind everyone of the member's meeting as not everyone is computer literate. Don't know if they'll read it out as I've also mentioned my disappointment at the survey re our jumper.

are your doubts based on the fact not everyone at 6PR is literate?
