Yep - making it an actual march is too difficult (have to get council approval etc.) and we're not sure how many will show up.
So it's intended to be just a walk down to the meeting with a bunch of other supporters... but hopefully it will look like a march.

I find it bizarre that there was such unified support around here for the previous admin who spent the best part of a decade wasting the clubs draft picks, took off for months in the USA padding his CV at the clubs expense, then ran off back to Melbourne when everything went pear shaped but you're furious with the current admin because they changed the jumper.

Absolutely. We have no problems with Harves and the Lloyds (etc). They're not the ones wrecking the club.

If it wasn't for the previous admin, lundberg, you wouldn't have a current admin to defend. Or team to support.
Nice revisionism about running back to melbourne though. THe only thing pear shaped about schwab going back to the Demons was he left us the steves.

Er, you always have been allowed to call them that, and its not just about the jumper, we have also lost our anchor, our colours, our logo and our name. These are the things that identify our Club. The players and the admin come and go, supporters last quite a bit longer, but the symbols and icons of a club should be there forever; ours lasted 16 years. The admin of the Club have graciously stated that they will allow the members to decide on changing the Club song. Why? They didnt ask us on any of the other changes.
If you are happy with the lack of transparency that has been shown, the lack of consultation, then that is your right, but do not belittle me for standing up for my opinions. I dont care if there are only six of us there, and that could be correct, but that is between me and the other people who want to be there and has nothing to do with you. I am unsure how my actions can reflect on you? I don't even know your name.

East Freo, if we are to believe the club, there's been 16 years of ridicule and embarrassment because of the previous identity. I'm sure one more night of a handful of ROFs making a scene isn't going to cause too many problems.
If it makes you any happier, the chances of the Eastern States papers commenting on the meeting are zero, so you won't have to worry about them laughing at you this week - they just simply don't care about the WA franchises. I do feel for folk like yourself who have been so embarrassed to be a Freo supporter. It must have been a tough 16 years.
