Had a listen to the BBC after 1 am this morning. It was a sports show - and based on the idea that winging is good. And thats all people were allowed to do for the entire program. People from all over the world rang up - even someone from Perth with their fav sporting winge. It was a good thing.

The WEAGIRLS had that horrible orange jumper for a while and then had to admit it was a bad call and changed it back.
Maybe the Dockers will do the same !
I know it sucks but hang in their fans.

this is a fair case in point of how bored football lovers pass their time in the off season.
i, for one, don't mind the new set up. no, it doesnt make me any less of a supporter and no one can tell me how i should support the club either. if i want to like the new jumper, i will. if you want to harp on about the 'glory days' of the red, green, purple and white - go nuts, i really dont mind.
because in the end, i associate with the style of football we play and the type of players we recruit. i do not associate, however, with people trying to tell others what the 'real freo' actually is.

Did you associate with the style of football we played, for example, back in 2001?

simwill and pencil, well said.
i could not care if they ran out in pink jumpers for the gf.
it's the mind and the body that is in and above the jumper that's important.

at last, some sanity prevails. I also like the new jumper and new logo, it goes well with our new players and new playing style. We are a different team and club to when we first began, embrace the change.

You freshnewbold interlopers can rack off - where were you all before this fiasco. No one tells you whether to like this rubbish or not.
If the things that identify this club don't mean anything to you, fine.
Stop knocking the people that it does mean something to.
I'm not going to embrace change because some people think change for its own sake is a robust argument for doing it. If it was shown that field performance, sales and brand identity/membership were all issues affecting the growth of the club, then bring on change.
Til then, it's a pointless exercise in supporter division.

Footy and success are cyclical...
are you fans of NewFreshBold going to prefer another new look for when the club faces the inevitable slump as players fall away?
New players?
New style?
Same club. Same team.
Please....
don't tell me to like it, embrace it or get over it.
I won't.
I'm not a fad fan.

I'm great about the chevrons and the paperclip.
I've never liked all of our fans anyway. (I mean, who could?)
Having a visible discriminator is a good thing.
I'm a pig in mud.

Dockerlady... sanity is all in the perspective. I chose to embrace the new players, the old players all the losses and all the wins, if that makes me 'insane' welcome to my world.
