What are the new jumpers like? Are they better?

All I'm doing is offering suggestions to at least get people thinking outside the square.

WAFC being sole shareholder may have been a good idea in the 90's but it's not so good an idea now.

I'm almost at the point of saying stuff it, let the steves win, what do I care it's only football afterall but I think I'll wait until the members meeting - I just suspect there's plenty who are angry from the armchair but won't stand up to fight.

Go FREO-lite

There will be plenty of people not buying the new stuff but that will take time to take effect.
For those who are more pro-active go to the members meeting if you are a member or just march(see other thread) and see what happens there, we need a show of strength so we need to publicise this as much as we can.
It's up to all of us-are you up for the fight?

I'll see you there SVS1, I'll be with the one carrying a man bag across my far shoulder, pouting, an Iphone V4 in hand listening to Short Stack on Ipod with my new "striking in its overall total gayness" Fremantle jumper on.

Keep punching old son, they're good suggestions.

"stiking in its overall total gayness" the rusted on freaks now how a term to rival "freshnewbold" to describe the jumpers!

Thanks Hypes, Nicholls - I'll be there at the meeting fighting on, I'm just starting to wonder whether there's as many in the old logo camp as I originally thought or is apathy winning the day.

I'll be there at the train station Wednesday, looking forward to the evening as a whole!

I'm all for "passive resistance" and I think it could be the simplest and most potent form of protest to get your point across.

If at the end of the 2011 season merchandise sales are down by say 30% on 2010, the Board will incur the wrath of the shareholder for the failed branding exercise, and in turn the CEO will incur the wrath of the Board.

So if members stay away from the club shop in droves, a change will happen for 2012. Of course some supporters will go out and buy the new merchandise, but if enough members stay with the old merchandise, then the point will be made loud and clear without the need for changes to the constitution and member surveys. Isn't it the ultimate members survey anyway?

"and in turn the CEO will incur the wrath of the Board.".

visions of grandeur there.

and so naive it scares me.

i won't be there because i'm apathetic. so apathetic that i'm not sure what apathetic means. or don't care.

also the freo train station scares me. can i join in at that fairy shop in the mall?

Good onya GidgeGary. Voted for ya and glad your'e coming on the stroll next week.

People, a lot of folks dont like fanfare, public speaking or bringing attention to themselves. But there will be a number of confident folks at the station by 530pm. Dont be afraid to join in. I am the kind of bloke who got things done and did things many people said I couldn't in my life. Im going to voice my disapproval. Believe in your ideals run with it. I am very disenfranchised with these changes and feel the treatment of members has been appalling. The club reps at this meeting need to know this.

If you too don't like it, come do something about it. Follow us.

From what I have heard about members around my seating area is that only a couple have already renewed. And about 6 others are not going next year. I have said b4 I want a full house to all our games, but I believe some of the old logo lovers are just giving up the game.

As Gary says, if by this time next year the Chevwrongs have not sold a decent amount, something will be done about it.

You can go logical or passion It doesn't matter much in the end. The Brand professional got it wrong and we want our club back and if he/they can't see that they are fools.

Lemon may be apathetic, but he's spot on with the naiveté.

I'm pretty sure the FDFC are able to engage a creative accountant should that occur, and bypass any wrath at all.

I think they call it due diligence.
