Lou's cool. Particularly when he's giving a heads up about blokes who probably shave their legs.

Great work polly. Take the arvo off.

Is that Lou Reed or Spock? Have they ever been seen in the same room together ...

Lou Reed has been dismissed as an ass of the first order by the Management of the FDFC (WA). In a lengthy press release issue this afternoon to international outlets from Fremantle (WA) Steves listed a number of priorities facing the fledgling no premiership team in the year ahead. The Steves stated that a brown dog would look good in the new Chevrons and that the new Anchor has the backing of a design team from the South Ynderup Yacht Club. The Steves stated their belief that once all proletarian reference were removed from the FDFC adornments the club would raise its standing amongst the blue rinse set of Claremont and Nedlands and memberships were expected to rise to new height. In fact, Steves stated that recruitments had already begun in the membership department with a ballot for interns for the unpaid position expected later this month. A sauce close to the club let it be known that Ms Lewinski, Tripp and Flowers had joined a long list of hopeful future staffers who had arrived earlier this month to demonstrate their skills with executive members.
When pressed about rumblings from below to the cultural change threatening the Port Club (FFC) the Steves cryptically suggested that ‘miscreant supporters should try eating anchors’.

Here is branding video, I quite like it, except for the last minute or so when they stop showing the Dockers and start banging on about a paperclip

Yes Marked, the sudden transition from the old Freo jumpers to the supposed heritage strip is very sudden and breaks the continuity of the montagy thing. Up until then it is really good.

Interesting point, the sepia and black and white photos at the start are from a book titled "Old Fremantle" by John Dowson, Published by University of Western Australia Press.

Fantastic book. Well worth purchasing.

Interesting point 2:
Note the anchor in this pic from page 117

And note the lack of Chevrons in this 1903 Premiers pic from page 156

I wonder why these pics didn't make the intro?
