It's that time again when all the marketing gurus extort millions of dollars from cash strapped clubs on the premise that they and they alone can increase the club's membership accompanied by a catchy slogan or two.
This is the list so far -
CARLTON: "No passengers"
COLLINGWOOD: "March to October"
GEELONG: "It's in our DNA, is it in yours?"
HAWTHORN: "Hawks united"
MELBOURNE: "Let your Demon out"
NORTH MELBOURNE: "Unite"
RICHMOND: "The Tiger is stirring"

Damn they're clever ... worth every dollar. Quick Steves get onto this ASAP before all the good ones are taken.
Then we can move on registering some pure gold chants:
- Dockers, ra, ra, ra

Do you think the lawyers will be looking into the similarities in slogans between Hawthorn and North (that is the former Kangaroos who were even more formerly North and are now back to North - if you can follow that, there's a message there for you Steves).
Surely there has to be a court case here for some aspiring QC type with a basic knowledge of copyright law and intellectual property - could be worth tens if not hundreds of dollars.
