So Hilton has been cleansed too. For shame.

I wouldn't have thought anyone would want to be highlighting the fact that there is only one junior football club in the entire City of Fremantle. It's a bit of an embarrassment to whoevers zone it is.


(If you're not up with your junior football history, the Hilton Hawks merged with South Fremantle to become the Fremantle Hawks).

Dunno, Hypes. I think Shane might have a point. My kid's been with the Pally Pi ... sorry, Demons ... for 4 yrs now and, while it's a struggle, Palmyra manages to get a team up for each grade every yr. Once you go seriously inland, of course, they've got 2 and sometimes 3 teams per grade (then they cheat by using composite teams for end-of-season carnivals, but that's another story).

I'm glad the Hawks are getting a few bucks out of the Paperclips, but it's hard to believe the Dogs seem to have pretty much conceded that everyone south of Lefroy Rd plays soccer. So why bother?

They should probably bother.
