You wanna know why there's scepticism? Because for all his ********, Malthouse has never given up a decent player who took a team anywhere. The closest was Tarrant, and now he's got 'im back. Cheap and as a better player.
You add a Buckley brain into the black'n'white think tank, and anyone worth their salt in that team is not letten go of.
As good as a Harvey is in the hand, a MaltBucklehouse trumps it most of the time.
For the record I'd be extremely happy to be proven wrong on this, and no, I don't want Mick Malthouse to coach Frementle. Ever.

I'm pretty sure that the Malthouse-Buckley brains trust let Mal Michael go on to be a 3 time premiership player.But I agree on Mick never setting foot in Freo..

Not to mention that fact that Mick has produced a player who got belted at the 3km time trial. He's an old man with an eye on retirement, maybe he's not as thorough as you think.

If it turns out that we do end up with Anthony I feel he could become a very handy acquisition and he comes free of charge, a win win situation.
