I've yet to see any candidate's position even remotely approach:
Q. What can you do to restore our real strip?
A. If elected I will at the earliest opportunity move a motion before the board requiring a member plebiscite on the jumper change and on the logo change. If these plebiscites indicate a majority in favour of returning to the old jumper/logo I will resign from the board unless the majority view is respected and immediately implemented.
Until I see something like that, a plague on all their houses.

Are there any candidates who support the club retaining its traditional colours? I haven't seen any comment on the fact that Fremantle will be the only club in AFL history to totally change its colours. We have been going since 1995 and already we need to change our colours - why? Yes some clubs have played around with the shades of their colours but even the Weagles still retain their blue, yellow & white in their away strip. It only seems to be the loosers like Melbourne & the Eagles when they were in their down periods that want to change the shade of colours in their jumpers. Yet the Freo powers that be take it on themselves to take Red & Green out all together. Tell me the name of one candidate that will at least stand up for retaining Red & Green in the home strip & he or she will get my vote.

Hi Boorih
I could certainly propose a member vote on the change of home playing strip and the logo and would want to oppose any proposal to remove Fremantle from the club name should that situation arise.
Fremantle forever

Just how formal is this members meeting? Do things need to be put on an Agenda before they can be raised, or is it more of a pass the mic around to whoever holds his hand up the highest?

Everyone is allowed one question and it cant be the same question as someone else, so come prepared with your question.

It is a constituted meeting but we, as members, have no rights to raise motions or vote on anything discussed. It is purely informational and a chance for you and me from the great unwashed to raise our concerns to our perfumed superiors seated on the plinth at the front.
Time to speak, people. Decide what you want to say/ask and don't be put off. Keep it succinct; if you ramble you'll be sat down. If you are nervous, write down your question/statement on a scrap of paper and read it when you get the microphone.

Having been at members meeting were there was barely a quorum in the 'old' days to see them grow over the years to hundreds. I suggest you are well prepared. Questions short and succinct also be prepared for them not to be answered. The most memorable was a someone calling for CC's immediate sacking and being shouted down.
