IIRC the last time we culled this many senior players from the herd, we were in full-on rebuilding mode. This time round it seems more like a renovation than a rebuild. Like knocking down that old outhouse down near the back fence that you were scared to go into as a kid in the middle of the night and putting up a lav that Hugh Hefner would be proud to take a dump in.

Ruffles has been spoken about being added to the rookie list, do you think Bucovaz may have a chance as well. I noticed before all the delistings were announced that Shepaeard and Sibo were the only ones on there on the docker site (someone's very quick off the mark). Can't remember how many we can have on the rookie list but with our success last year you'd want as many spots available as possible.
We're only using our first 3 picks in the draft with the rest being filled with rookie upgrades. Almost as excited by the rookie draft as the draft proper.

I expect both Buco and Ruffle to be retained as rookies. The rookie draft is likely to start several rounds further into the pool of players than previous years meaning they'll be well ahead of anyone else available.
