I've been economical on my postings on this topic, mainly because I agree with the sentiments of the initial thread-post.
I feel really hurt by our executive ripping away the symbols of my Club and their executive decisions will always be damned in my view.
But, I will be there next year. I will cheer on the boys in purple. Mrs Hg and my memberships will be renewed.
I will remain angry with the executive.

I'm supporting the club now, in 2011 and forever.
But changes to the jumper and logo are completely unnecessary and wrong I'll do everything I can to get the decision reversed.
I'm wearing purple, green, red and white next year, with a Fremantle Docker logo loud and proud.

I didn't join the Budgies! I joined the FFC. I will continue to barrack for the Freo boys, as I have thru thick and thin. I'm angry at the WAFC for foisting the Budgie Stwve's onto us. I'm angry at the Steve's for being shallow corporate and dollar driven. Clearly they lack integrity honesty and definitely pride in our club. They sang another tune for so long they expect us to change to what they think our brand and song should be. I will always be Freo!
I SUPPORT 2 TEAMS! FREO AND WHOEVER IS PLAYING THE BUDGIES/EGIRLS

I don't recall anyone saying they won't support our boys however as a member for 16 years I am disappointed in the underhand way they went about changing our jumpers especially as it has always been stated 'we are the people's club'. I for one can't afford to keep changing colours/jumpers etc - we aren't all on large incomes at Freo. I was also one who marched down at Freo on a wet cold day to ensure we could select board members to support us - what a waste that's been.

Using the word "haters" is a bit rich... that just draws unnecessary division in the supporter base.
People like me feel completely disenfranchised by this action. We're entitled to that without being told to build a bridge, etc. As for the team, wish 'em all the luck in the world but the Corporation won't get a brass razoo off me.

Oh gee, you really are a patronising know-all aren't you Shane. The fact is, the Freo club song is clearly audible. But when TNT is played, it is at a noticably lower level. Even the "professionals" would agree that ac/dc is best played very loud for some of the stirring wins we had this year.
And by the way, who are you to question "decisions made by professionals employed to manage" our club (which you seem to do at avery possible opportunity)?
