Four Dockers to be de-listed

Fremantle quartet Steven Dodd, Ryan Murphy, Brock O'Brien and Ben Bucovaz are set to be delisted as the major casualties of the club's aggressive week of trading.

I'd heard yesterday that Buco was being de-listed. My sauce said that it was a groin injury that he was having trouble with.
Buco is quite upset with this development and has hopes of overcoming the injury and getting back into the AFL ala Barlow, SCOS, Ballas, etc.

Myboys, normally I'd say that you should get help if you hear voices coming from your sauce but it in this case it was on the money. Rosella or Home Brand??

No reports of this anywhere else - the article is just rampant speculation, with no sources at all (this is the West, remember).

Having said that, I think it's fairly likely that some, if not all, will go.

I can confirm that Spud has been delisted. Maybe Dodd might consider himself hard done by but really there are no surprises here.

Unless his body just isn't up to AFL, Buco is the one in that list that I rate, one more year in the system might be all he needs to breakout Rather rookie him than Brock.

And sad about Spud. Saw him do some great things for us, though manily in the last half of 2006 during our winning streak, and of course in the mighty red and white jumper.

The really big surprise is the 'alledged' contract extention for Hinkley.

Is this the dark side of Harvs???...giving average WAFL players hope against hope of cracking it in the AFL??

The only reason I can think of doing this... insurance for Palmer.

Hear me out both are simalar players, where the biggest differences is that Palmer has a more developed footy brain,wins the hard ball (pre-2010) and clayton is a bit more speedy and has a cleaner kick.

Does delisting from the main list mean they can be put on the rookie list?

Delisted players can be selected as rookies or redrafted in either main or PSD.

You're at the mercy of the system though as other clubs could pick them before if that's their wish.
