I don't understand why you blokes are drooling over him? He severly weakened our trading position by threatening to retire if he didn't get to his desired destination (draft tampering???) and then talked about how much he owed the club that traded him to a club who rebuilt him.
Stuff him.

Oh sure, soon as someone puts on a different jumper they become the enem...
ooooer, that's a bit of a sticking point then, isn't it?
Soon as they leave and join somewhere else, they're the opposition, sure. I just don't see how Taz has diddled the club? He decided not to renew his contract and then the two clubs managed to sort out a deal that has everyone happy.
Easy.
Now, Little Boxes, made of Ticky Tacky... there's a song.

I can understand the upset at the club's decisions.
But getting upset at a player looking after his own interests has an air of fantasy about it. The AFL player management system is not exactly all that player friendly. in a system of every man for himself, you'd have to expect a player to maximise his opportunities.

I hope Pav kicks 12, with Taz playing on him, to show how only Mark Harvey could make Taz a excellent defender.

My feelings are neutral to Tarrant. Neither 'wish the best' or hold a grudge.
Only as time has gone on grew a little less impressed with him. Bringing the removalists in before the end of the season - not cool. Must have been seriously tortured in his soul to behave this way.
I think the deal for him was a decent one- so all is good; but the way he as good as held the AFL to ransom to be on his terms was not so cool either.

Do we have incontrovertible proof that whatshisname didn't catch a glimpse of the prototype paperclip in August?

I'm keeping the dream alive and I'm hoping he'll continue from where he left off at Collingwood.
Him and Swanny and Dids and the rest will start up drinking again, a few bar brawls will ensue, and Collingwood will reclaim their rightful place in the bottom half of the ladder. Come on Taz, you owe it to 'em.
