My first wish is that Freo stays the course because the previous times we made final round football we dropped away the following seasons. The second wish is less likely, compassion and common sense from the AFL. The two byes we get should be after long road trips eg Brisbane/Gold Coast/Tas.That would help get rid of 6 day turn arounds for sides on this side of the country that travel every other week.

I'd like to see four more rookies that impact our season as much as they did last year. I'd also like to see Pav forward more and kicking bags, facilitated by less injuries in the middle. A full season of Barlow, Mundy, Hill, Crowley and Morabito in the middle together with patches of McPhee, Grover, Fyfe, Ibbotson, Palmer, and others getting a crack at it as well. Will do them the world of good to have big tall bodies in the middle that have pace. okay McPhee doesnt have pace but he makes up with it by the fact that he just has so much heart and smarts to work it out. A reasonably fair draw from the AFL would also be nice, play getting to play collingwood at Subi for a second year in a row. and more than four games at the MCG would be a good idea.

Andy Kraks to win the Brownlow and gets his acceptance speech broadcast without interruption coast to coast. Remember where you heard this first - put a weeks wage on it before Rnd 1 and you will retire in comfort before 2012.

I need another two smokeys polly. Last year, according to the Inquisistion during the mid season break, a $1 trifecta of Barlow brownlow, Jack Riewoldt Coleman and Freo Premiers before round 1 would have got you 1.3 million.
