I wouldn't be too down on the deal, I suspect Taz will play far fewer games in the remainder of his career than most think. Look to see an injury ravaged year for Taz next year followed by a retirement - history will show the FFC to be the winner on this one.
I'm not wishing a bad year on Taz I just reckon his body is going to struggle next year.

You might be right svs1.
I don't blame Tarrant in any way; however if the recruiters maintain their form then we will probably win out on this one.
Melbourne websites are suggesting that Pies wanted Taz specifically for a match up on Buddy Franklyn, as his record against Buddy is far better than any of their present defenders. Buddy usually kicks big bags against the Pies apparantlly. Also they did not want him going to Hawks or Blues.
Still got an aggro feeling about Pies attitude to not offer up very much though.

How d'you reckon he'll go lining up on Pavlich next year?
I'm predicting the same way the chevrons point.

That would be the same way the anchor used to point...

I see it as we got rid of a player who is likely to be an injury liability for the remainder of his career, picked up an extra draft pick and made room in the salary cap. Collingwood picked up a player who could end up being like Robbie Warnock was in his first year at Carlton

Don't blame Taz my arse..... Going back to Vic after Harves reinvents him where all his other coaches couldn',t is one thing, but "If I don't play in front of inbreds in gold jackets I will retire" is another.
A willingness to wear the Hawthorn jumper or play for the "cash in the bag" mob would have seen us with a fairer return.
Tazza deserves everything he is going to get.

Do anchors point?
It matters not. Anchors are just better.
Still, I'm with lemon. The only winner in this was Tarrant's ladyfriend.

Oh yes, anchors point alright. They point, and have a point. There's something in that for all of us.
Speaking of having a point, one of the recruiters at another club (Adelaide I think) made a good one: that is, with the introduction of Gold Coast, every club is "handicapped" 10 places in the draft. Hence, our picks 43 and 55 are really picks 33 and 45 relative to every other team except Gold Coast. That's enough to make me happy with the Tarrant trade.

Clutching at straws, EJ.
If you try hard enough, you can convince yourself that freshnewbold is OK too because it isn't as stupid as a crow or a dude holding a lightning bolt.
