Yes heard from my husband that it was an "ex-Collingwood player". Was hoping for Medders but I guess Lockyer is better than some alternatives.

I'm ok with that. He did it the hard way to get his go in AFL, used every ounce of talent he has, and attacked footy hard for a little bloke.
Plus - and even more rare - when pressure was on he lifted and delivered ball well.

According to the Herald Sun, Luke Ball's inside information about his old team was very important to the Pies winning the GF.
Does it follow then, that having an ex-pie on our coaching staff will help us beat them in the Grand Final next year?
