dddocker, it is not financial blackmail it is consumers driving the market, we have rafts of legislation on consumer protection. It is an exercise of free will of the people to influence the actions of the representatives and it's a beautiful thing.

Freofan the jumper is not the issue the lack of consultation is (and the way the meagre consultation was phrased and undertaken) - if you can't understand what people are upset about then you must enjoy being treated like a doormat.

I just don't want to buy a jumper that looks like any number of rugby league jumpers out there.

As for the logo, childish, amatuerish stuff! Club should be asking the Brand Agency for its money back on that one.

There's a 'winter camouflage' version coming soon - just as shiny and also Brand new.

I don't mind the new jumpers that much, I prefer the clash/away and purple haze jumper much more. The new jumper is just too 'International Rules' for me, as the above poster says, almost Rugby League.

The new logo just plain sucks, it is vastly inferior, and the Font so US College Football as to cause me to gag every time I see it. Even if I was predisposed to buying the new merchandise, which I will not ever, I couldn't on suckage levels.

I was at the Fremantle store bright and early this morning got over $330 worth of merchandise for $140 a bargain I bought 2 old style jumpers (ladies $79.95 down to $15) which I expect will last me a life time! And a new scarf etc etc
They were also unpacking the new jumpers whilst I was there and I made a point of saying out loud "I dont like it!"
I will forever be decked out in RED GREEN WHITE AND PURPLE - My team colours!

I went to the store in my lunch break. They had 50% off all the old merchandise so grabbed 3 ladies tops ($15 each),and many others things that had the mighty anchor on them!

I love the anchor and I love a bargain!!!

When I got the email from Craig @ the team store re. bidding on the 2011 atrocity, I promptly replied (see below), even though the email said not to reply as you would not receive a response. YEAH RIGHT I WOULDN'T GET A REPLY!!! Guess they couldn't help themselves either!! I got a response. bahahaha and what's even more funny is i'm not even a 'John'.... i'm a 'Jill'.
