Some online polls are worthwhile, Shane. Especially when you get the big Q-stick up as the next chief slimer!

do you like the colours, dont you like the colours?
do you like the song, dont you like the song?
it misses the point, these are our colours and this is our song.
its purple, green, red and white and its Fremantle.
every generation has a steve rosich coming through the club into - "brand development" and you have to resist them. otherwise it will be change after change.
i hope you guys are joking.

I don't mind the heritage strip. Quite like it, actually. Even like the song. But if the original 1800s strip was so historically (or market-ably) important, why didn't we adopt it in 1994 or 1995?
We own the anchor, we own the purple - and the red, green and white - and like it or not, we own our club song. And we don't even need a teleprompter for so-called fans to sing along with.
These are part of what we stand for... (Thank you Wallsy, you goose.)

A quick check of the laughable Bigpond team website reveals a couple of email addresses, but no specific personal addresses.
admin
[email protected]
membership
[email protected]
marketing
[email protected]
store
[email protected]
If you really care about it, I suggest emailing admin and ask politely if it's true, how they came to that decision and why you disagree. Be interesting to see how they respond.

I know that they had a poll at the back of the Docker as to which jumper you wanted the team to wear to a training session, but there was nothing regarding any sort of permanent change.
Scandalous if true, the anchor immediately identifies Freo.

I love our home jumper and our club song. I wouldn't mind our away jumper changed from the white with purple anchor to the purple with white anchor or purple with the 3 V's to keep the purple with white anchor for purple haze only.

Jebediah55, would it be impertinent to ask what your source is on this?

Seriously... just no on the song. LEAVE IT ALONE. It is a point of distinction. Changing icons like jocks loses respect IMO. Only freagles and people who have just jumped on board could possibly complain or not like the song.
Jumpers, well, they seem to get tinkered with anyway, but my preference is to DEFINITELY maintain the anchor. I love our clash strip, I reckon we look ten feet tall in them. Personally, I think the purple haze strip is the next best option.
Why a rebranding exercise, there is no need? The next step in the evolution is sustained success, on the field. And we seem pretty damned close now.
I await these possible changes with incredulity, and would sadly muster all my available resources to reject change for seemingly no reason.
