Just read my Docker magazine and Kate Grieves response to her own post.
Things just go from bad to worse and these idiots just grow into bigger idiots!

From the Docker magazine:
President Harris said he encouraged supporters to have a look (at the changes)before passing judgment.
"One of the great things about Fremantle is our supporters are very passionate and they feel very strongly about the club." he said.
Well Steve, what happens when those passionate supporters who feel strongly about their club do "have a look" at the changes we have been railroaded into and don't like them - what then?

"One of the great things about Fremantle is our supporters are very passionate and they feel very strongly about the club."
Isn't that (or words to such effect) what Kate Grieves said on another thread?
Good sign.
The employees (both salaried and voluntary) are worried, which is why they've standardised a message and told everyone to stay 'on' it.
The employees are in deep doo dah and, as they stand, things could go either way.

There are no volunteers, Wizfan - I refer you to section 26 of the club constitution. No one is doing it for love only.

I've heard that the Marketing Department so besotted with their freshnewbold look have put a proposal to move the Admin HQ away from Parry Street to Newbold Street Fremantle. Just hinges on whether they can fit fresh on to the street sign

One of my many issues with changing the logo and jumper is that sixteen years of history is gone. Especially if a premiership is won with the new jumper - sixteen years of history, frustration, passion and pride is wiped out.
Looking through the membership renewal brochure there are no 2010 jumpers or logos shown at all. Plain purple flags in the crowd (page 4), green and red colours in the crowd pics gone, players backs to the camera during action shots. A sad bloke on page 11 with a blurry Purple Haze jumper is the best we get.
The history is gorn.

I love the new logo, its just like the only metal puzzle I could do right in kindergarden.
See, it takes just two easy moves and then the D is separated from the Anchor forever and the problem is solved..how clever they are.

How can you wipe out history? As far as I know our history is still there....when I google Fremantle Dockers and look at
wikapidea I still see our history????????? Only if we forget then is history lost. Isnt the Fremantle Dockers still a Club, a team to be proud of........I dont get to see live games much so I listen on the radio and then it doesnt matter what they wear...also I've never been able to afford anything but a cheapie shirt and everyone still knows who my team is. Im as loud and passionate as any supporter, I would rather be positive for our club and players tho.
