Real Men Wear Purple, the title of the upcoming album is a collection of absolute bottlers of Jordo’s classic Fremantle hits. Thirteen songs sensationally written and performed by Jordo and band will be possibly professionally recorded in the studio if we can get this project up and running. Given it’s an expensive project to finance, Jordo has approached dockerland and all dockerlanders to be a part of this great idea to help her and her band make it work. So given we’ve loved her work from day dot, especially her world famous International Eagles Suck Day number one hit, we’ve taken the project on in the hope of making it, Jordo and band a success. In conjunction with the CD those magnificent people down at the greatest pub in the entire world, The Sail and Anchor Pub Brewery, have come on board with a degree of sponsorship. Following the weekend, which will no doubt be Fremantle’s second Derby victory for the year, on Wednesday Night the 18th April at 8pm Megan Jordan and her band will……wait for it……be playing a night live at the The Sail and Anchor! The Sail and Anchor have welcomed them down for a night as well as every dockerlander to come and enjoy the free show. How good is that? The launch of the true Fremantle Docker supporter’s CD containing the greatest Fremantle Docker songs ever, in the most Fremantle of Fremantle pubs of all time. It genuinely does not get any better or any more purple than that! A night at the Sail with Megan Jordan and Band performing Real Men Wear Purple for all dockerlanders! The 17th April falls during school holidays so you can bring the kids down. Come and have a beer, enjoy a free snack and be entertained by the incredibly talented Jordo. More details soon. It will be an amazing night when you’ll witness Fremantle go three zip in Western Shootouts and then be celebrating to the glorious sounds of Megan Jordan pumping out purple songs!
