On the plus side though, Brad Scott is still coach at North Melbourne so even without a forward line Fremantle are a decent chance to sneak away with a season defining against the odds win. The big news for Fremantle is that Matt Taberner has recovered from an amputated leg to get the nod as the full forward this weekend, with Cam McCarthy getting a spot at centre half forward after missing all the pre-season games. While some might argue it probably would have been a good idea to give him a run just in case this happened, everyone knows that Cam does his best work when he has no idea what's happening. Reece Conca, Travis Colyer and Rory Lobb are all in for their Freo debut and, because it's a Sunday game as usual, the bench is loaded up until the weekend.
