Good God there are some bad football teams in the AFL at the moment. Fremantle v Brisbane has never been considered a showcase of the AFL but it's hard to believe they can even afford to stage the game this time around. Sadly for the Lions and their supporter, Fremantle's have hit a patch of forming - thrashing the highly rated (although statistically lacking) Essendon last week and chucking them down to the lowest run on the ladder. Fremantle's newfound reputation for sinking teams to the bottom of the ladder shouldn't worry the Lions too much though because the Dockers seem keen to rest on the laurels after their one win for the season, leaving out Matthew Pavlich who has a virus related groin injury as well as a wedding and he left the stove on. Jon Griffin will also miss out, somehow injuring his hamstring during the week and not his calf, while Michael Apeness broke a bone on the weekend. Zac Clarke comes back into the team after not injuring himself at Peel with ,Jack Hannath and Tanner Smith being the only two players left in the squad tall enough to make it not look like tanking.
