Like the 4th hour of a Stanley Kubrick film, Fremantle's season continues to drag on to it's pointless conclusion. For the third week in a row, Fremantle supporters are being dragged out to watch things unfold live, with not even the comfort of having a television commentator to yell out to divert attention from the horror in front of them. Hayden Crozier has had enough of it all and played the 'calf injury' card so he can have a week or two off, Garrick Ibbotson's plan to forget how to mark a football seems to have paid dividends as well, with Ross Lyon deciding to drop him. Nick Suban, Matt Taberner, Tendai Mzungu, Connor Blakely, Cameron Sutcliffe have all been added the squad, with some facing the humiliation of not making it into the final team. Adelaide don't appear to be taking the game with perhaps the seriousness they would have 12 months earlier, dropping Seedman with a buttock injury.
