Fremantle's season is expected to take a turn for the better this week, with traditional bunnies, the West Coast Eagles, hosting the Dockers at Subiaco Oval. The Eagles have had one of their more successful starts to the season this year, with a win over the Brisbane Lions - the team who missed out on the wooden spoon last year by 3%, but then got belted by Hawthorn once again. The Eagles have responded to that loss by bringing back Chris Masten, suggesting that the drug problem at the club has spread to the selection committee. Fremantle have played a cautious hand, opting to give the players the time they need to adapt to the subtle tweaks to the minor premiership winning game plan from 2015, with just Clancee Pearce leaving the side - due to a hamstring injury. Matt De Boer has agreed to stand in for Clancee which presumably means he's also keeping Tuesday night free for the inevitable tribunal appearance.
