You can't be entirely surprised when you return from Geelong with a nasty disease of some sort but it was still unexpected that Fremantle would lose a third of the team to what we are now calling "the Geelong virus". Seven Fremantle players will miss this week's game against the Kangaroos due to The Geelong Virus, with Blake Acres, Griffin Logue, Lloyd Meek, Michael Frederick, Rory Lobb and Travis Colyer all sent into covid isolation for at least a week. Not to worry though because there is a queue of other players ready to go or returning from injury so no one will even notice. Back into the team will be Hayden Young, Heath Chapman, Liam Henry and Sean Darcy. Jye Amiss is going to make his debut and will be looking forward to getting all the A Miss jokes out of the way early in the season.
