As much as this hurts we have to sack Harvey as a coach or make him apologise for what was clearly a pre meditated attack on a stalwart of the game. No less than a formal apology and a substantial fine will do here.
Craig Kelly is Harvey's manager I believe. It could only stem from there.

Remember, Lewis might have been black but he wasn't wearing purple.
I'm suddenly very worried that Ballantyne's going to get at least 2 wks for this.

If he gets two weeks the tribunal would effectively be saying that it is on par with Judd's attempted eyegouge/ancient martial arts pressure point technique which clearly it is.
I understand that Ballas was attempting to pinch the third eye thus interrupting the flow of the geelong player's chi and wrecking havoc on the whole feng shui at Subi.
It's about time the AFL recognised the blight on our game that is subversive martial arts techniques not least of which is the sweaty fingered pinch of death employed by Ballas. He should go for a minimum of 4 weeks for this potentially lethal act. DEPLORABLE!

It was established last week that a knee to the testicles is worth one week.
So using that as our base line, a pinch is worth somewhere between 20 minutes detention and 50 lines on the blackboard.

I'm OK with that as long as there is some counselling involved as well.
Bring his parents in and then let the family sit down with Eyebrows and Adrian. Get Eybrows and Adrian to tell Pinchy that it is not OK to pinch people regardless of the situation or what they might have said to him.
Let some good come from this - for the sake of the game, for the sake of the people and for the sake of society in general.
This pinching business can not go on and in fact it has the potential to ruin what might be a good game of footy next week. Milne would not put up with it and would go crying to Lyon who would go crying to Adrian who would go crying to Eyebrows .............. bugger - you all see where this going.
