It needs to be said that East Freo treated the kids fantastically.
My son had a great day and (I hope he and his mates were listening) he stepped inside a bit of history. I hope that's something he remembers when he's older.
The East Freo guy who runs the Little League stuff deserves a real pat on the back. He's a great club man, and he cracks good jokes. (I don't think the kids got the joke about Old Easts having been robbed of 3 premierships, but never mind.)
My kid and his mates were made to feel special.
Hats off to East Freo.
Joke-free zone.

They also put out a tin of that fancy imported-from-South-Australia chicken salt for your chips - the only WAFL franchise that does.

Wizfan, congrats on the young fella having a run today in the Little League.
He will remember it.
Also, maybe Harves got Walters pulled off the ground, to freshen up for tomoro?
Besides Polly and Wizfan, does anybody else think that Kraks is a chance at a Rookie listing at the end of the year?
Would Freo look at him?

They couldn't help but see him yesterday (and they did)- it would be the smartest acquisition since Barlow if they listed him.
I don't think Mike will play against the Cats, so it must have been some sort of injury. He is the best kick we've got, even the Orange Bollard (Hanson) could mark one of his passes.

Having seen Mike Walters at the Deen again tonight and witnessed what a great bloke he is, may I add my own endorsement for the kid. A great bloke and does well with the ladies. Not sure how that correlates to the field but I'm sure there's something there!
