WHAT A KRAKOUER OF A GAME - Black Ducks by 40pts (or so).

The game was attended by half the Docker squad - Solly and Chris Scott were parked behind us, with Crowley, McPhee, Suban, Ibbo, Barlow, Sibosado, Mayne all watching the Ducks lay it on the Sharks. No kidding, and I'm not embellishing this at all, there was a lot of 'oohing' and 'ahhing' from the Docker camp at the stuff Kraks pulled off today - not necessarily the goals, but the hard-fought ball getting stuff.

For the Ducks, Krakouer kicked 4 or 5, Geapon a ute-load, Walters (who was very lively but went off in the 4th) 2, and a bunch to the rest. The Hinkleberry was back - very fast and a good kick into the wind; Pearce was fantastic - very hard at the ball, a lot of disposals/contested marks on the backline; but the day was yet another skills show by Andy Krakouer.

For the Sharks, Palmer kicked a couple (looks undone though - seems conscious of his knee and doesn't trust his run, not much finding the ball/space stuff); Chris Hall looked great - a lot of important marks/disposals that helped the Sharks move up the field; Buco looked like a medium Mack truck - kicked a couple (and was impressive most of the day). Kyanga fast, but quiet.

The maggots were woeful - tried to gift the Sharks back into the game when they were 9 goals down, but it only brought a lot of jeering - Woey's bunch simply couldn't match the talent on the other side of the paddock.

A great day - saw Wizfan briefly, spent the second half discussing football with Sean Gorman in the sun.

So, to sum up then, Polly, a bad day with ducks just getting over the line!
