To heck with easing back!
Wrong message to the players, other clubs and fans. Geelong at Subi is a winnable game. Difficult, sure but winnable!
Never, ever fold up before a game starts! I see 3 - 0 as a chance now and I want it! Bet Harves and boys do too!

Perhaps I should have said sacrificial.
OK. Had a bank manager moment there.
What the hell. Got the taste of blood. Time to go for the jugular. Rip the Cats apart and stand over their quivering carcass, entrails dripping from snarling mouths and putting all other teams in fear for their lives.
MWAHAHAHAHAAAAAGH

Great to see everyone keeping a lid on it
Harvs suggested some of the regular players didn't go to well today. I'm not sure who he means, but I'm glad they took the opportunity to rest up for next week. I reckon we'll beat the cats, too.

Yes violet, it twas I who chastised MJ earlier in the week and guess what rewatch the first half as i was ready to go MJ hunting with my elephant gun becuase he again did some stupid lazy things that should have seen him dragged....luckily he redeemed himself in the second half and played really well cutting off Essendon's backdoor options (a feature of their game) that gave us important rebounds in the third and fourth quarters.
And what about Taz geez I was fuming at some of his plays today...especially the jump over SCOS in the third quarter!! SCOS had the ball and Essendon player covered and TaZ jumped over him spoilt the mark and gave away the kick, luckily they botched the shot at goal.
And what was Pav thinking in the first half trying to play on instead of having very getable shots at goal.
Thank goodness Frodo, Hilly, Barlow and Haze played sensationally...havent fogotten 211 he was unstoppable and had my brownlow votes!!!!!
Im almost starting to get excited for the Cats match!!!

dd , Harvey was obviously referring to Sandilands, Haselby, Johnson, Hayden and Mundy.
They were all well below their best which is entirely understandable so early in the season.
I'm sure they'll get better.

Curious - I thought Sandilands, Haselby, Johnson and Hayden played a storm. Mundy seemed quiet though.
I'd think he was referring to Suban, Crowley and Duffield. And maybe McPhee. Des didn't get a lot of it but when he did, he made it count.
