So after all the talk of Pav playing as a key permanent forward, and then watching him shift in and out of the middle...what is his position?
Is it almost worth when our midfield start getting beaten to keep Pav out and just let the young guys fight it out.
I would bet 95% of the time Pav would shift momentum back for us, but should someone else be giving the chance to do it?

The photo of Pav on the Dockerland front page says it all: zero body fat; muscled to the hilt and intense. The Age also had a classic rampaging Pav pic.

I didn't see the match but sat up way past my Sunday night bedtime to listen (in Melbourne). From the call, Pavlich was back to his powerful best. Looking forward to this Sunday's roast of Essendon.

I think if they were playing a lower team like melbourne of richmond you would let the young guys battle it out. A round 1 win is too important and putting pav in the middle was the right thing to do. He is such a massive guy and was able to stop the flow of adelaide taking the ball from the centre and get it moving our way.
