Just saw Hutchy on the Footy Classified segment Good Call, Bad Call where he again bagged Freo's decision to draft Adam McPhee.

Good Call, Bad Call: Adam McPhee will be good for Freo.

Hutchy: Bad call. Horrendous call. They've stuffed this up, Fremantle. They've made the wrong choice here with McPhee. It's such a way away from their philosophy taking young players in. He's not gonna be in the next premiership. He left them once before, they should never have taken him back when he couldn't get the deal he wanted at Essendon, he's already coughing the ball up in the NAB Cup. Nothing against Adam as a person. They were already on the right track putting some kids in and they've just made a meal of this, Fremantle.

Garry Lyon: You've had a blue with Fremantle. you don't like them and you've been at 'em for a long time, you saw 'em as an easy target and away you went.... and they're not talking to you.

Hutchy: Oh well, that's partly true..although I couldn't care less.

Lyon: <snickering>

Hutchy: I wrote a column saying McPhee was a bad call in November, which I felt strongly about and still do.

Lyon: You said it was one of the worst recruiting moves of all time.

Hutchy: I think it was a (sic) horrendous decision to take Adam and as a result of that offered to go over and do some interviews with the key people.. and, uhh, wasn't welcome at Fremantle... so that's uuhh...so be it.

Lyon: And what about the coaching future of Mark Harvey while you're on a roll. While you're just whacking Freo.. you wanna give 'em another one?

Hutchy: I think he's long odds to be coach next year... they'd need to win 8 to 10 games and I can't see how they can.

Lyon: He's started before the ball's been bounced Caro.

Caro: there was another rumour going about Freo that said Chris Bond and Mark Harvey were said to have had a few issues over the summer. I actually had a coffee with them a few weeks ago... and I know (to Hutchy) that you think 'Oh Caro you're so easily seduced" but they sat down, they gave it to me straight.. they said "look we often debate things but it just absolutely wasn't true that we'd had a blue over summer", and I believe them.

Hutchy: Highly seduceable, Caro.

I remember when Robert Walls had a go at the Egrrls, they invited him to their club, served him lobster with their best chardonnay, gave him an Egrrls jumper with WALLSYEY on the back and when he left they were best of friends.

Hutchy goes for the same deal and we simply tell him to #$%^ off.
