Just read the latest injury list and noticed Deboer 6 - 7 weeks Knee. The West said Shin 1 or 2 weeks????

I fell for that one last year looking before the update was finalized now reads:
Hayden Ballantyne - knee: 1 week
Matt de Boer - shin: 1-2 weeks
Antoni Grover - knee: 6-7 weeks
Rhys Palmer - knee: test
Clancee Pearce - ankle: test
Tim Ruffles - knee: 7-9 weeks
Scott Thornton - groin: 7-9 weeks

That would have truley sucked if he was out for 2months. With that much time on the sidelines you would assume one of the other rookies would over take him in the pecking order for the next call up. Hopefully it's nothing serious though and he can get the upgrade and a few games within the first month

Are you sure about that? On the Fremantle website injury it says: "As of 16th March, Matt De Boer - knee: 6-7 weeks."
Shame, because he would of been the next rookie to come off the list; my next picks are pearce then silvagni but will be tough to pick.

I would say it's a typo Yakka,
Fremantle injury list update as at 16 March 2010

If de Boer is out for 6-7 weeks, then place him on the long term injury list, freeing up a spot on our rookie list, then elavate someone from our past champions list onto the rookie list, then elevate them to the main list.
Has Jeff got any plans next weekend?

That can't be right. I went onto the site yesterdsy (17th) at 4pm and they listed Ballas, knee, 1 week and DeBoer, shin. 1-2 weeks. Now they are saying updated on 16th as Ballas 1-2 weeks and Deboer, knee 6-7 weeks. Somethings screwy here?

They must have got the leg extensions wrong. Either that or they are hiding the fact that he was on the rack for 4 weeks and his knee just couldn't take the strain. Oh well - just so long as his legs are longer and he can kick better.
