So we're on train home and all the Freo fans are smirking at each other but being pretty reserved really. And then this happens ...
Old mate Eagle's supporters snaps and just starts screaming:
"HOW MANY PREMIERSHIPS HAVE FREO WON?"
"HOW MANY PREMIERSHIPS HAVE FREO WON?"
"HOW MANY???"
'THAT'S RIGHT ... NONE!!!"
"HOW MANY PREMIERSHIPS HAVE THE EACLES WON?"
"TWO!!!"
The entire train erupted into histerics and he doesn't even know why. He just keeps kept screaming "TWO .... THAT's RIGHT ... TWO" until fellow WCE supporters tell him to shut up.
Almost as funny as my wife who's never been to a WCE home game turing to me and going, "Oh my god they DO all leave early"

Walking through the city with the kids after the game on our way to get some dinner before the long drive home and decked out in our purple gear.
Along comes a staggering, hiccuping eagles fan being kept upright by his poor (no doubt long suffering) girlfriend. He starts up the "GO EAGLES" and we all laugh at him and keep walking, so then comes the inevitable...
"What's in (hic)your trophy cabinet?!?! Hey, (hic) hey?? Nothing... you have noth(hic)ing!!"
And my 7 year old looks up with his big bright happy docker eyes and says "Doesn't he know who won Mum?"
Oh yes darling... he does..

My brother in-law (typical slime fan) went to the game with his wife (also a slime fan). He got so upset with the result he ended up having a very angry, very public spat with his wife(I think she said something along the lines of "don't worry the Dockers are just a better team at the moment but we'll get there). He ended up shouting abuse at her in the middle of the throng leaving Subi and he stormed off leaving her stranded.
I wish I had a video of that because I reckon it would have been a scene that was repeated all over Perth yesterday.

I was lucky enough pull in a favour and grab a client and head to the game. Used works Dean Kemp room tickets. Ahoy poloy!
Was the closest I have ever come to getting into a blue at the footy in a long time. Irate Eagles were incensed that there was a Docker in the Eagle nest. I saw it as my duty as a Freo member to raise merry hell and stir it right up. And so I did.

We got tickets in block 114 right next to the Eagles cheer squad.
In the second quarter when they got the lead this guy stands up and starts shouting "scoreboard, scoreboard" and pointing at said scoreboard.
In the third quarter when we went on the rampage, I stood up, faced the guy and starting chanting "scoreboard, scoreboard, ladder, ladder" and so did the other 6 Docker's fan near me.
Talk about revenge being sweet!

You must have been near us addicted. Also in block 114. There was a slime supporter who muttered obscenities at dockers and slime players all game, and finished up singing our song with "alternative" wording (not needed for "we're flying high"). His wife/girlfriend spent the majority of the game with her head in her hands.

A friend and I (two ladies approaching middle age!) and my son were waiting to catch the train from Citywest station. The train pulls in and 3 people get off. We attempt to board the train and the sad weegles supporters near the door won't let us on, saying it's too full. Too full of sh*t I'd say.
Bet it was easy to get on a train after the match!
