Oops, I missed their report from AAP man Justin Chadwick. First nine sentences about Masten and Embley. I'm thinking the Worst reporters didn't bother going to the game, or "we're not really interested in footy anymore; it's not that important, you know".

PR's 6:00am sports report consisted of a report on mastens knee injury and how it would be scanned today that was the only mention of the derby. FFS whoopie doo. Just loved the way he jumped on cart to be carried off.

I see this week the Eagles' finals hopes are now "all but ruined". Is that more final than last week's "on the brink of ruined"?

A lot has been written about the many hacks writing for our local rags but Ray Wilson is one guy that seems to slip under our radar... His match report has "West Coast Pig Fan Boy" written all over it...
5/6th of the article is about the first half, mentioning such highlights for them as Natanothing's first ruck tap and "power forward" Josh Kennedy's impressive work rate.
He doesn't mention anywhere how much trouble Embley seems to be in, and as for the summary on the right hand side... check out the umpire blooper he chose to highlight... if that doesn't scream "West Coast supporter" then I don't know what does?
Would be interested to re-read the West's article some weeks back on the West Coast Pigs fielding a WAFL side? I'm sure I interpreted it as being their "seconds" side..? Maybe I was wrong?
