Positives

Fyfe....getting better with eye for goal and coolness under pressure
Morabito....starting to gain strong presence around the clinches and takes pressure off haselby
Barlow....enough said (BT says it all)
Hill....beaten early but gradually worked his way in to the game despite the close attention (he'll learn from that)
Roberton....great debut, good decision making
Palmer....a lesser player would not have fought his way back into the game
Silvagni...he is now a great backman no matter how big the player Harvey picks him to play on (pity he will be back to rookie list next week)

Docker4501 I highly doubt silvagni will be dropped next week. We do have another rookie to move back in Deboar. Silvagni has been miles ahead of deboar so far this season.

Yes freo can drop whichever rookie they want. So I predict Deboar out Suban in next week with grover to test his knee in the WAFL.

Thornton is already back, hence why pearce and JVB got dropped. (Ruffles returned to wafl as well)
So only guy to come back is Grover.
We have a spot available thanks to Sollys retirement.

Another huge positive is freo hasnt had a serious injury since Subans ankle. We have almost a full list and at full strength. Grover and Suban back in would have freo with their best side on the park.

The good things about those players listed is that all of them sticky hands, great marks for their size. Jeez, Morabito has a good leap on him!
Also not a bad time to get Brisbane on the back of 2 losses.
-Haselby keeps going on quietly
-Taz never gets beaten
-In fact the whole backline!
-We are pretty much full strength after dropping like flies in that second quarter!
-Roberton is a keeper
-MJ

Grover has been an able servant for our club through the hard times and I am sure it would be nice to see him in the current one....but sentiment wont get him a guernsey in this team

Bit concerned about both Hill and Balla's knees. Balla in particular looked really loose specially when he snapped around his body in 3rd quarter I think. They both looked proppy and sore. Geez hope they are okay for Lions!

There were some great positives today. Most of all I was impressed with the over-all contribution of all players and the flexibility of the team when so many were falling to injury throughout the game.
Pav's goals came at crucial times and he showed great leadership.
Palmer showed tremendous resilience and came back to win over 20 possessions and have a hand in a few goals.
Ballantyne was again lively and gained a lot of possessions and gave away a few goals to team-mates.
Barlow again such a smart player, as are all the young guys we are playing.
Hill came back well after being quiet in the first half and being pounded by the Toasters.
We outran them. All the backline crew werre great.
Having said that, the competition is so close that each away game poses some match-up strategies which I would envisage means that some players will come in and out of the side depending.
