West blooper
#306135
While in a taxi on the way to the airport I happened to notice a crumpled up copy of tomorrow's West stuffed in the seat pocket. Feeling a bit curious about what the latest news was on our hapless former treasurer I pulled it out for a squiz and then blow me down what should I see!

Sport page headline 'Playing for Keeps' with a supposed picture of the four rookies who will be playing for a spot on our senior list come Sunday's bye

Photo of Silvagni, van Berlo, de Boer and Broughton.... hang on?

Oh dear, wrong photo Mr O'Donoghue... I think it was supposed to be one of Clancee Pearce

Here's hoping it doesn't get spotted by the second edition!

Why should that come as any surprise?

The real blooper is there are two stories + pix of Dockers and no hero poster of Nik Nak Noway to be found!

See also Ray Jordan's wine column in the illustrious West today. Ray selected a whole host of wines to talk about and only afterwards did he realise they were all from South Australia. Not to worry says Ray - South Australia's "main" footy team is going about as well as "our main team" so perhaps his review of SA wines will make South Australians feel a bit better about themselves.

Obviously Ray forgot that Fremantle and Port Adelaide play in the AFL too.

According to the injury list Thornton and Ruffles will both miss this week and Grover will miss another one or two. Who do I believe, the AFL or the Worst? Not a difficult question
