Good to see him getting an opportunity.
Sibosado moves from Claremont to Perth

I think that I read he had over 20 touches last weekend in the reserves.

Great move - Troy (when he returns from his new Dad duties) can look after Casey and show him some Cookie tricks.

I watched him play in the Claremont reserves last week. He played at half back, rebounded a couple of times, got caught holding the ball and didn`t seem to be able handle the ball cleanly. He did not appear to be a happy camper! Weedon and Broome looked more lively and involved with the team. Casey looked out on his own.

I find this situation interesting.

Assuming that Casey Sibosado has done 2 preseasons with Fremantle and trains with the main group each week, I would have expected that he must have improved immensely in fitness, skill and confidence since being drafted.

I think he may have had some injury concerns but am not sure what they have been.

If it is a case of not being given game-time in the WAFL, then maybe Andrew Jarman and Cookie and company at Perth might be the best thing for him.

I'd be interested to know what kind of mentoring he is getting through Freo and whether he has any family with him in Perth.

Why would you assume he has personal issues?

Claremont are going gangbusters at the moment and spots are hard to come by for 19 year old speculative rookie draft picks requiring time in a key forward position. Perth don't have that problem. There's nothing unusual happening at all.

We saw him sitting with Dean Solomon at the Claremont game last weekend and he looked happy enough.

If Solly had my back, I'd be feeling pretty happy too

Check out WAFL watch on Fremantle FC. Apparently he had his best game of the year so far.

Remember that he missed a massive chunk of last year and a chunk of the pre-season as well. Also, they're playing him as a defender, which I'm not sure he's used to.

Give him some time. He could potentially be awesome!

So what you're saying is Freo should bring him in about round 17 or so to give McPharlin a rest going into the finals.

God knows we could use some help. And why would he want to play for a pack of front running knobbers like Claremont?

Playing as a defender at Perth he'll see plenty of the ball.

I'd rather see him in the forward line, but if he's playing as well as I reckon he will be, why not?
