With a 17 round season travel will become more of an issue. Some Einstein out there needs to work out a formula that gives all teams an equal travel burden. No reason why two games can't be played at Subi on the same weekend.

Surely the only bloke who really cares about the 'One Day in September' is Mike Brady. Has the Herald Sun asked his opinion yet? Or are they having trouble locating which skip he sleeps in these days?

As long as it's still a long weekend I don't care.

I've put my Einstein hat on and worked out, roughly, that if all Victorian based teams play their games against non-Victorian teams at the non-Victorian teams venue then it will roughly work itself out. Non-Victorian teams share their games around a bit. We'll travel to each other State once, some maybe twice.

Of course the Grand Final would have to be moved to Western Australia, but that's progress.

Forget the "One Day in September" and the 22 round season. They're red herrings (or bears perhaps).

The thing I find astounding here is that EyeBrows gets paid $1.8 million per year and he's out-sourcing the big decisions to the coaches?

Merc's right. Why would anyone seriously want less footy in a season. Surely you guys aren't serious when you say you'd like a shorter season!?!

Start it earlier, make it longer and the cricket can be played in India.
