I'm with you Marked but it wouldn't work. I'd still worry until about 35 minutes into last quarter and I'd only start to relax if we were about 20 goals ups.

The Tigers have a good record at Subiaco and against Freo. My step-son is a Tigers fan, fifteen years membership and has just turned 21. So I would be doubly gutted if we went down on Sunday. Not taking anything for granted.

This would be a danger game for the old Freo going in as raging favourites, lets hope the new Freo keep up the pressure and quality of play they've delivered so far in 2010.

As fans, we've got to mark time for a fortnight until we get a decent game. And it's not like the Ashes is on to distract us.
So the least the club can do is to provide us with a bit of entertainment until we play Brisbane, and win the next two games by successively record margins.
I don't mean club records.
I mean comp records.
Otherwise, can you imagine how drearily dull it's going to be watching close wins against Richmond and West Coast?
If you had to choose between watching us beat either of those teams by, say, 3-4 goals or watching grass grow, you'd be hard pressed to know what to say.

I dunno about that Wiz.
I'm just hoping to get the four points. A week is a long time in footy and we're just focussed on the process and keeping our structures in place. The boys have really got faith in the game plan and everyone knows what they have to do. There's no easy games in football these days, we don't take any opposition lightly. I'm sure the Tigers will be desperate for the win so we just want to play the Fremantle brand as well as we can and hopefully in the end that'll get us the points.

You're right, Flyke.
A week is a long time in footy, and you can bet that The Tiges will come to play and it will be game on. But at the end of the day so long as the boys stand up, stick to the game plan and concentrate on structure they'll get the runs on the board. They have to get numbers around the ball, lay good tackles, make effective disposals and, after they've done a big hanger to make a strong grab, kick through the ball to make sure it makes the journey and applies scoreboard pressure. They have a process in place that ticks all the boxes, so there's no reason they can't go the distance. The premiership window is open.

Checkout the Tigers midfield (centre line in particular), it is very good if you look at the names. Lots of top 10 picks in there. Some good players are back in the team after injury and suspension. This game is NOT a push over. The Dockers need to treat this game like they are playing Geelong or the Saints. Tackling and pressure and good decisions/skills.
Nothing is guaranteed in this business.

Agreed dddocker. Handy that Jackson is missing with a leg injury but a good running midfield for Subiaco- Edwards, Tambling, Newman, Martin, Deledio, Cotchin, Foley and White (who I rate as a player but has been out of favour recently and might not play) plus a couple of hacks in Cousins and Tuck.
3-4 goals would be a solid win.
