I'm not sure if you realise but Sandilands and Naitanui were playing in different games. The top dozen players in the Fremantle game were better than the best in the West Coast v Essendon affair. 3 players from each game will be given Brownlow votes as per the system of voting. So while I'm inclined to take any bet going, it wouldn't prove anything.
So, dumb bet. Dumb question.

I thought sandi was the best player on the ground by a mile even though we lost the match. I think it was one of his greatest ever games. He's been the team of the weeks leading ruckman for the past 3 weeks so I think the guy who chose this team has just got caught up the the niknat hype. Who cares anyway we all know whos number 1.

I've just come in on this. It's hilarious! The idea that UnCo had the faintest idea of what he was doing on Fri night is beyond laughable. NikNat goes 'boing' and runs wildly in the direction of West Coast's goals. Most of the time. Sometimes when he goes 'boing' he manages to take possession of the ball, but most of the time the ball's probably got more control of him than he has of it.
UnCo is the bear West Coast have to have this year, and for many, many years to come. The only vague mystery here is that the east coast media's bought the sales pitch too.
Sandi's game on Sun, not just in the ruck but all over the ground, was exceptional. So glaringly obvious was the superior quality of Sandi's game compared to UnCo's that the only way to mount a case for NikNat is to keep on changing the terms of reference.
So, while stats apparently count for nothing, Brownlow votes (even ones that haven't been revealed) apparently count for everything.
Sorry, ARUSBN, you argue like NikNat plays footy.
Boing! Boing! Boing! ...

You forgot to make the chicken noises. Always a good point prover I find. No, I won't be taking your bet. I'm not 5 years old.
Nevertheless, it was one of the best games of his career.

How does getting a brownlow vote prove he was better than sandilands?

Yes ARUSBN, it's the best 22 players of the week. There are around 30 of them from the Freo vs Saints and Cats vs Port game who played better than anyone from that attrocius game of 'football' Friday night. That's kind of the point. They deserve to be named in the best 22 ahead of players who were slightly less crap than the rest of the side in the worst game of footy I'd seen in a while.
It says a bit that the Melbourne vs Richmond game was of a much higher quality than the debacle between the Weazles and Bombers.
Natawhoiey's game was inferior to Sandi's in Round 4 = Sandi deserves the nod. I'd have Jamar ahead of Natawhoiey too.

If Notacluey gets Brownlow votes, it means he was less crappy than the others that played in a crappy game.
It has no bearing on whether his game was better than Sandi's.
Over the weekend Sandi played better than Notacluey. Simple as that.

I guess it depends if you are having a list of the top 22 most influencial players for the week or the top 22 best players. I dont see the point of the top 22 most infuencial players because its easy to influence amongst s*^T players.
