Now, how good was Pearce?

Barely healed the WAFL bruises from the week before, and he's on a bus and off to the airport. Comes off the bench, gets 14 disposals, 7 marks, lays 5 crunching tackles and whacks a couple of goals.

I'm glad he's been elevated to the Seniors - he was looking very good with the Black Ducks after a strong NAB Cup performance:

Can you imagine if Hill or Black Duck Nicnat were Mikes?

Polly, do you actually have a real job?

Love your work. Wondering if you made that vid on company time?

Nice description of him by, I think, Brian Taylor - he's got a robust body

He's the pure definition of a 'nuggety' player.

Henceforth I shall call him 'Nugget' - also based on the fact that we dicsovered him via the rookie draft.

I'm not sure why but Nugget seems an excellent nickname for a bloke named Clancee.

Love your work Polly.

Clancee Pearce. Superstar in the making. Gotta love his given name.
Terrific physique. Where is his best position to you think?

Is he fast enough to cover opposing forwards?

Reads game well - and is no slower than a host of others.

Happy to see him anywhere in backline or as a small forward including that negating role on oppositon's creative hb flankers.

Strong overhead so could play wing at Eti and be an option for us coming out of defence - so yep love him.

Nice one Polly.
you need to win some type of award for that awesome footage.
Love the peanuts

Do we have a Footy Footage Award Shane?

Ahh .... until we do. Let's just say the FFA goes to Polly

Good stuff.

From the 8 or so games that he played last year i gained a high opinion of him. He is a strong body, with an excellent mark and great footskills and has the ability to go up the ground and score a goal. I am just hoping that when our injured players recover that he doesn't have to go back to the rookie list.

He will go back to the rookie list when Thornton (i think) returns. Same for Silvagni when Grover returns. Van Berlo I think has Ruffles spot. De boer has Solomon's spot and Barlow has a spot for the whole year. At the middle of the season we can elevate one rookie. So will it be VB, Clancee or Silvagni???

on current form it'd be Silvagni or Clancee, but that's a while away yet, let the brains trust work it out when the time comes (things may change between now and then). I say sit back and enjoy it for now.
